I have had some parents ask me for kids schedule if they were in the classroom so I will put together a document today as to what our weekly learning schedule is to help. For now I will post today and by the end of the day I will post a document with a weekly schedule! Of course everything right now is optional I am just trying to help how I can remotely. If you need anything or have any questions I am available by email and will be checking my email throughout the day! I miss everyone and hope everyone is staying safe! Today's Distant Learning Schedule (Optional) 8:30-8:45 Recess 8:45-9:25 Independent Time Kids could choose from: Silent Reding, AR Test, Edu Typing, Writing a story of their choice, Buddy writing with friends, Code.org, Math Games, helping around the classroom etc. This is usually a time I would work with a small group.  9:25-10:35 Math If your kids want to work on Think Central Math Work, Student Activity Book, Homework Book, or Iready Math they can.
Mrs. Rohla's Math I have assigned Unit 8 homework, quizzes, and end of the Unit Test on Think Central. If you want you can work on Unit 8 out of your student activity book and do the homework on think central and the quizzes when they pop up. This of course is optional and we will evaluate where everyone is when we come back after Spring Break. You are also welcome to log in to clever and work on Iready Math or Reading. All students have accounts set up that will give you assignments as to how you did on the Iready Placement test you took at the end of Trimester 2! I miss you all and hope you are doing well.

If this is posted then school has been cancelled due to everything going on. I would love it if students could continue reading at home at least an hour a day. I also have sent home a packet of Drops. If you can work on those a page a day so you do not forget Math standards you have learned this year. Drops My Math Class please work on Unit 8 in your student activity book and Homework book. It is Geometry and will have State Testing when we come back so I want you to be prepared. If you have access to By the Great Horn Spoon please finish reading that novel and take an AR test. I am working on Google Classroom and the reading link to join is 4negxdf

Science Fair:  Fourth grade will be doing a science fair for Open House, April 23rd. Today in class I introduced our science fair project outline. All experiments, research, and displays will be done at school so we can WOW you at Open House.  By Wednesday students need to research and pick a science fair project. They have a sheet to fill out that says question. I would like them to have their title and where they found it so we can research and view it at school. By Friday kids will have a list of things they need to bring from home. However, we will not need it until Monday 23. All students will need a trifold poster board.
