Thursday, August 5th First Day of School

What a great first day meeting all of these fantastic fourth graders! They should have come home with their planners today so ask to see their planners! Also if possible kids can bring a water bottle as we do not have a water fountain in class but we do have a water jug to refill during the day.

Tonight

Read pages 4 & 5 of the planner as they talk about GOAL setting. We will be setting goals next week for the trimester.

Silent reading 20 minutes

Due Monday Decorate the cover of their composition book. I just printed pictures and put glued them on the cover. Some may want to draw a picture. Some may want to print a logo and put it on. I have clear tape that I will be using to help the pictures stay on and makes a cover on their composition book. If you were not able to get a comp book I have plenty and your student should have grabbed one today. If they forget they can grab it tomorrow.

CODE WORD to write in planners: Brookstone (don't share just write it in your planner I will check in the morning)
