Science Fair: Fourth grade will be doing a science fair for Open House, April 23rd. Today in class I introduced our science fair project outline. All experiments, research, and displays will be done at school so we can WOW you at Open House.

  • By Wednesday students need to research and pick a science fair project. They have a sheet to fill out that says question. I would like them to have their title and where they found it so we can research and view it at school.
  • By Friday kids will have a list of things they need to bring from home. However, we will not need it until Monday 23.
  • All students will need a trifold poster board. If we can have this by Monday, March 16th that would be great. If you are unable to buy one please let us know and we will find a way to get a donation. Image result for trifold board

Week of December 9th - 13th

This week: Students need to read 5 minutes out loud to practice fluency and voice . Then finish the rest of the 25 minutes silently reading.  We are working on area and perimeter. They selected on whether they will be designing a Playground, Kitchen, Classroom, or Bedroom . S tudents will be presenting on Friday as well as learning Google Sheets to make it digital.  1.) They need to find the factors of the area 2.) Eliminate factors that do not work for the perimeter to narrow in and find the length and width. 3.) Then place their square/rectangle on graph paper to design. Students turned in their holiday tradition topic. We will be starting designing slides and researching the origin of the tradition Tuesday and Wednesday. If you have pictures you are welcome to share them with me so I can share them with students to their school accounts. We will write speeches Thursday and Friday so they can practice over the weekend and try and memorize it before our holiday festival...
