Read each night 30-40 minutes This months Genre is Biography We are going to writing a biography report the week before  Spring Break. Students need to keep a timeline of dates just like we did with Patty Reed's Doll

  • Students need to dress in layers and hiking clothing
  • Kids need to bring a backpack to carry their lunch and water
  • Arrive at school at 8:15 as we will be leaving at 8:30
  • Plan on picking kids up a little late that day at 3:30 
Spring Break 3/26-4/2 Kids return to school on Tuesday, April 3rd

    I hope everyone had a restful Spring Break! Just a reminder that we have Math State Testing this Thursday and Friday (4/25 & 4/26) and next Tuesday (4/30).  Please be sure your student is well rested and has a healthy breakfast! Our final field trip is Wednesday, May 8, 2019.  We are attending State Scientists Day at the State Capital from 9am-2pm.  Any parent who is fingerprinted is welcome to attend as a chaperone for the day.  Permission slips are going home on Wednesday (4/24). **  Math Class Due: Tuesday: none Wednesday: Geometry Worksheet   Thursday:  Quadrilaterals and Triangles Worksheet Friday: The Greedy Triangle Worksheet ** Read 30-40 minutes 10 minutes has to be read to an adult out-loud ** Bring Library Book on Wednesday to Renew or turn in ** Drops due Friday

They will be presenting their Autobiographical Islands this week.  20 minutes of reading 10 minutes of typing practice Recycle Program We will be collecting plastic bottles and cans the last Wednesday of each month: 8/30, 9/27, 10/25, 11/29, 12/20, 1/31, 2/28, 3/21, 4/25, and 5/30.     We are still looking for volunteers for Sutter's Fort. Without about 40 parents willing to help we cannot attend this field trip.
