Welcome Back! I hope everyone enjoyed a great Thanksgiving and a restful break!

We are changing a few things about homework:

Rohla's Math Class:

  • We are starting to learn about measurement. Talk to you kiddos about any measurement you may use in your daily life.
  • Page 119 Homework an Remembering Book
  • Accelerated Math inputted by Friday. Kids will still be coming home with Accelerated Math. Help them budget their week so they can be done by Friday. Maybe 5 problems a day or a page a day. If you have 3 or more pages they may want two weeks to finish their packet. I am fine with that they just need to show me on Friday they have a plan for when their packet will be done. I am trying to work with them on budgeting their time.

Nightly Homework for Rohla's Home Room Class

  • Apply for Government Jobs Closes next Friday
  • Reading 30 minutes
  • 2 Reading Log Response (NEW) due Friday
    • Students are coming home with a page of over 50 questions they have to choose one questions two nights a week and respond to their reading. They can do so in Google Classroom or in a notebook. I will be looking at these on Friday. Please have students proof read their work as we are really working on writing and becoming better writers.
  • Drops Due Friday
  • Mission Books were passed out today. I have encouraged kiddos to start the conversation with you about an At Home Project. At Home Project Papers will come home on Friday with the Friday Report. I am pretty open to most ideas pertaining around the time period of missions. If you would like to visit a mission and it is not the mission your kid was assigned that is completely allowed! Please let me know after Friday if you have any questions. I would love your kiddos to be creative and think outside of the Mission Kit System you buy. Kids can build it, visit it, make a google slide, make a poster, etc. I do not want you to spend a ton of money on a project so encourage your kiddos to be creative. We went over some examples today and will continue to go over.
