Message from our Superintendent about fingerprinting! Gates will be hosting an event October 27, 2016 5:30-7:30. Please read below!

This is Derk Garcia, Superintendent for the Roseville City School District, with important information for our volunteer parents and guardians.  As a school district, student safety is our highest priority.  As of December 1st, all parents who regularly volunteer at a school site, attend field trips, or transport students must be fingerprinted and complete a risk assessment for TB.

In order to make this transition as easy as possible, each school will host a fingerprinting and TB risk assessment evaluation event from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. during the month of October and into the first week of November.  Additionally, for those parent volunteers who work in the evenings, we are planning a morning event at the District Office on Friday, October 28th from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.  The District will pay for all fingerprinting and TB costs at these school and district sponsored events.

Additional information, including the Volunteer Handbook and required forms are available on the District website.  You will receive specific information from your child’s school within the next week and all of this information will be available on our website at RCSDK8.org.  We greatly appreciate all that you do for our children and hope that you will continue to work with us in service of our students.

Thank you,
Derk Garcia, Superintendent
